I’ve had a cold since Wednesday evening, and am about 90% over it now. Luckily I seem to have the ability to sleep off sickness, so a couple 13-hour slumbers fixed me right up. With the hot weather I thought it was allergies at first, but the sniffles stayed even after it got cold again, and the tickle in the back of my throat was a good indication, too.

Remember when you could ask a question at Ask.com and Jeeves would actually give you a REAL ANSWER? I miss those days.
Now it’s just another search engine, and not a great one, at that.

It is so freaking HOT! 35C was the high today, and everyone is in a piss-poor mood because of it.
The Lower Mainland usually has such a short summer that getting an air conditioner seems like such a waste of time, but when your brains are boiling out your nose you would pay almost anything to feel cool. I need money!

Tomorrow’s supposed to be a little cooler but I’m really not sure about playing ball hockey with this sun beating down. Can you say heat prostration? I knew you could.

In other news, my Freeware web site’s domain expired and I didn’t get a notification because the e-mail I used when I registered it is no more. I was able to get my hosting provider to re-register it, but the DNS has been messed up for a couple days now. Of course Shaw‘s DNS seems to take longer to update than everywhere else, as I can see my site at work but not at home.
