Attention TV executives! Making the commercials louder than the shows doesn’t make us pay more attention to the products; it makes us mute and, consequently, ignore them.

If the commercials are clever and interesting we will watch them…at normal volume levels.
That is all.

    I don’t even watch TV anymore unless there’s something I need to tape. And I always edit out the commercials.

    I have resorted to carrying the clicker with me as I walk around when the TV is on so I can mute the loud commercials.
    I have complained to the FCC on numerous occassions. All I ever get answered is that it is only my perception. Idiocy reigns at the FCC
