A drug that tans your skin, causes you to lose weight AND helps your libido?!
I’m anxiously awaiting the next 2 years, as will most overweight geeks. Now, if only there are no nasty side-effects!

    Yahoo moved or removed their link. I’ve updated it to point to Wired News’ article.
    The drug is still in testing, so you can’t get it anywhere yet.

    Maybe it is time to update this topic?

    In Italy melanotan-1 (afamelanotide / Scenesse) is now available to treat the photosensitivity aspect of the disease EPP:

    This article explains the development.

    It does appear that a licensed, regulated and doctor administered version is on the horizon for usage by members of the general public.
