WordPress v1.5 is out, and the upgrade went without a hitch!
I’m looking forward to the new whitelist option for commenting, which should keep the poker spammers out of my comments.

Had some fun trying to get the Gravatar icons to work properly in Internet Explorer again. Stupid IE…

On Saturday, while I was sick and a little put out that I couldn’t attend the LAN party, I decided to play Counterstrike…8 HOURS of Counterstrike!

I could barely feel my legs by the end of it, from sitting too long. When you check behind the bedroom door for camping bastards as you head off to bed, you’ve played too much CS…

Caught the cold pretty much everyone has been flaunting around me. If you’re contagious, don’t come to work, people!

My throat’s feeling better. Last night and this morning swallowing felt like broken glass. I’m still pretty tired. Hopefully after another good sleep I’ll have this mostly licked.

I was supposed to go to a LAN party some of the ex-employees from Merilus were putting together this afternoon, but it looks like I won’t be able to. Gotta take my own advice and not pass this cold on.

I was asked to help some friends with their computer after work. I tell ya, if there’s one thing that will take care of Windows 98 problems, it’s Windows 2000…

Install…drivers…update…antivirus…firewall…anti-spyware…done! Ahh…nothing like a fresh OS installation. The speed of the computer only goes downhill from there.

A few months back I got some free downloads from Puretracks.com with some microwave “hot pocket”-type food. I went to listen to some of the files today, only to be told by Windows Media Player that I need to restore my licenses from a backup. What backup? WTF?

Looking online, it appears that my recent CPU upgrade is responsible for making WMP think that I’ve put my music on a new computer. WMP10 has the ability to regenerate licenses, and Microsoft has a utility online to do the same, but neither worked.

Well, they’re MY music files, and I’m going to download them in MP3 format via P2P. Suck it, Microsoft! Your proprietary WMA format is absolute crap.

There’s a Taco Bell in town! There’s a Taco Bell in town!

(you know I’m boring if that’s the most interesting thing in my day…)

Edit: no Chalupas or Gorditas!
