I asked for KOTOR2 for my birthday, and also got a Future Shop gift card, so I picked up Freedom Force vs. the Third Reich.

Overall, I’ve found Freedom Force to be the better game. It’s definitely as good as the original, and the new improved engine look great and they’ve still been able to preserve the campy Kirby-esque artwork. The voices don’t seem as good as the first; maybe they had to rush that aspect of it.

It’s my birthday! 35 years old! AUGH!

As the first thing going wrong on my birthday, there was no hot water. I almost gave myself hypothermia trying to wash my hair.

When I read this (way to buck the system, Rodriguez!), it only reinforced my feelings that Sin City was something special.

People were asking me what I thought of the movie right after I saw it, but I had so much going through my head at the time all I could say was, “’s good”. Well, it’s great, so if you don’t mind ultraviolence and sylish, groundbreaking filmmaking (and cheesy lines), go see it!
